Knauf Insulation Sustainability Reports
At Knauf Insulation we have experienced a period of significant
growth over the last decade, growing to become now the world's
third largest insulation company. With such growth our impact on
the environment in which we operate has also grown and with it so
has our responsibility to manage these impacts responsibly. We are
committed to reporting annually on sustainability and below you can
find the most recent sustainability reports, including the 2011
Sustainability Report, published in October.
Global Reporting Initiative
The content and quality of the information in our Report is
guided by the
Global Reporting Initiative's G3 sustainability reporting
guidelines. The Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) is a
network-based organization that pioneered the world's most widely
used sustainability reporting framework. GRI is committed to the
Framework's continuous improvement and application worldwide. GRI's
core goals include the mainstreaming of disclosure on
environmental, social and governance performance. GRI's Reporting
Framework is developed through a consensus-seeking,
multi-stakeholder process. Participants are drawn from global
business, civil society, labour, academic and professional
institutions.
