A great end to a successful week of commissioning for our start up team. Our new factory has the capacity to make 75,000 tonnes of glasswool insulation per year, which will open many opportunities for our customers.

Our first locally made insulation batts have just rolled down the line. Such amazing quality from the first day of commissioning.
FEBRUARY 2021
We’re one step closer to delivering high quality glasswool insulation to our customers. The furnace is ON at our new factory and we will be making insulation next month.
DECEMBER 2020
Our team of dedicated colleagues are on site, busily getting everything ready for start up in February 2021.
SEPTEMBER 2020
The main factory buildings are completed. Our local team starts moving in to the new factory very soon.
July 2019
The factory build is now complete and the warehouse is getting close to completion too. We’re now getting the inside of the plant ready for the installation of our manufacturing equipment.
JUNE 2019
Everything is ahead of schedule; the building is now complete, ready for the installation of our state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment.

The framing is up for the area that will house the furnace, the walls are done along the line and the flag poles are up.
MARCH 2019
Huge progress. The roof is now finished for the packaging area, most of the walls are up and framing is in place for the oven section.

Our project and construction teams meet on the site of our new manufacturing facility in Johor as the piling is completed.

Plans for the new manufacturing plant are announced by the Knauf Insulation Group. The state-of-the-art manufacturing facility will change the game of insulation in the region by providing our customers with access to the latest manufacturing techniques and high quality Glasswool insulation.
