Knauf Insulation is Recognised for Best Practice Energy Efficiency Technology

NEW ZEALAND: Knauf Insulation, along with four other leading German companies has been recognised for their developments and innovation in energy efficient insulation products.

As part of the line-up of German companies at the BuildNZ exhibition in Auckland, New Zealand, Knauf Insulation showcased a range of high performing insulation solutions to help create healthy and comfortable homes.

Jet Steam® MAX blow-in insulation was featured in the product displays to highlight its credentials for high performing homes. Marriott House, which was the first home in Christchurch, New Zealand, to be award the Passive House Standard was insulated with Jet Stream MAX and was recognised as part of the Best Practice Award.

Guy Manthel, Technical Product Manager, accepted the award at a ceremony hosted on the Knauf Insulation stand at BuildNZ, said: “It is really encouraging to see how New Zealanders have embraced our blow-in technology. Marriott House is just one of many high performance homes in New Zealand that have selected Jet Stream MAX to help meet the criteria of thermal, acoustic and sustainable performance in the building.”

“To be recognised amongst other leading companies in their field is a great achievement for Knauf Insulation,” he added.
